 n<p>Laughter for health on Zoom</p>\n\n<p>Laughter boosts happy hormones 
 which reduce stress and depression. It also relieves pain\, strengthens t
 he immune system\, boosts creativity\, reduces inhibitions and much more.
 </p>\n\n<p>You don&rsquo\;t need any experience or equipment\, and there 
 are no Downward Dogs or other yoga poses. We do simple playful exercises 
 and laugh together. The &lsquo\;yoga&rsquo\; part is breathing\, and mayb
 e a short meditation at the end.</p>\n\n<p>Laughter is contagious\, just 
 like yawning. We have our cameras and mics on so we can see and hear each
  other\, and the laughter grows. It is a safe space\, there&rsquo\;s no c
 omedy or no jokes and we never laugh at each other.</p>\n\n<p>Please bear
  in mind that laughter is cardio-vascular exercise &ndash\; sometimes ref
 erred to as &lsquo\;internal jogging&rsquo\;. Take appropriate care if yo
 u have any health conditions where that could be an issue. You may want t
 o seek medical advice\, or simply start slowly and gently\, see how you g
 et on.</p>\n\n<p>Note: I do record the session for security purposes in c
 ase of gate-crashers. It&rsquo\;s not uploaded anywhere\, and I delete it
