This exciting event offers new and returning students the perfect opportunity to explore our library facilities while discovering the diverse range of clubs and societies available through the student union. Browse stalls showcasing academic societies and clubs to creative groups and volunteer stalls. Meet other OU students, chat with society representatives and find your community at The Open University. Come and explore the campus, connect with other students and make the most of your OU experience!

Getting to campus

Road

If you are arriving by car, navigate to:

Betty Boothroyd Library or East Parking or Church Parking, Kents Hill, Milton Keynes

Entering campus by car

It will be easiest to park in the East Parking so you can have a short walk to the Library but all parking on campus is free so you can find a space and follow the signs to the Library.

Getting around campus

When you arrive, this campus map is available for you to get around campus. When you park, follow signs to the Library where the Fair will be held. There will be signs and volunteers pointing you in the right direction!

Train

If it’s an option for you, consider using public transport to travel to our event more sustainably. The University is approximately four miles from the Milton Keynes Central Station.

Bus

Bus services run frequently to and from the University to areas in Milton Keynes and the train station. Buses from the Railway Station to Walton Hall at The Open University take around 40 minutes. For more information and links to plan your journey, visit the OU’s travel advice page.

Taxi

Taxis to and from The Open University can be booked using Skyline Taxis on 01908 222111.

Air

You can get to The Open University from any of the UK airports. London Luton (LLA) is the nearest, approximately 24 miles away. You can travel easily to the University by road, rail, bus or taxi. Please visit the London Luton Airport website for more information on planning your route.
