The Disabled Students Group is run by a Committee comprising elected members and ex officio members who are the main link between the group and the Executive Committee. In line with other Open SU units, the Group receives a budget and other support, allowing it to articulate the needs of students with health problems and disabilities.

• Ross Thorne – Open SU's Vice President Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) – he sits on all Support Group Committees as an ex-officio.
