Our events help students connect with others, build confidence in speaking and explore different perspectives. Newcomers are welcome, including students who have never taken part in a debate.
All events are free and take place on Zoom. These events are for current Open University students. Register through the event’s Luma link using your OU email address so we can confirm your eligibility.
The three November workshops build towards the final debate on 23 November, helping students develop the skills to begin an argument, make it persuasive and bring it to a clear conclusion.
