If you’re struggling with student life you can get instant support for your mental health from the TalkCampus app. It offers a safe place to talk anonymously to students around the world about anything that is on your mind.
The TalkCampus app is a peer-to-peer support platform for students around the world. You can use it at any time of the day or night if you need to talk to other students about worries you may be having. You can also go on there to support others if you become a TalkCampus volunteer.
The app is a safe place for you to talk about your feelings and concerns. It is monitored by professionals 24 hours a day. Any inappropriate or abusive posts are removed by them.
TalkCampus is completely anonymous and is not run by the Open University or the Students Association and neither we or anyone else will be able to see anything that identifies who you are. TalkCampus isn’t a replacement for counselling or professional support, however it is a great place to start talking and know you’re not alone.
The app supports 26 different languages so you can communicate in whichever language you feel comfortable with. You can post and comment on the main feed, get involved in group chats or access their wellbeing content. The app also has a mood tracker and private journal feature.
