How to submit your response
We're sending emails with a link to the survey at the moment, check in your emails over the next few days for your link!
The survey closes on 30 June at midday (BST).
Giveaway
This year, we're giving away;
- Top prize: a £400 shopping voucher
- Runner up prizes: 5 £20 shopping vouchers
All vouchers will be from Love2Shop, and can be used with over 50 different retailers!
When you’re filling out the survey, simply agree to the prize draw T&C's and select that you'd like to enter the prize draw for your chance to win, and we’ll randomly select all winners after the survey closes.
We'll contact the winners via the email provided to verify their student status, and will then send the vouchers directly to their emails.

How do we use the results?
You spoke, and we listened.
In our last survey results, OU students identified areas important to them like sustainability and support for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Since then, we've taken some important actions like;
- Building an Allyship Hub on our website for staff and students to learn all about how to support those around them
- Prioritised sustainability in planning events
- Student Leaders have organised community clean-ups
- We've focused on raising awareness of support available to students.
FAQs
How long does it take to complete the survey?
It takes roughly 15 minutes to fill out the survey, although this may vary between individuals.
When does the survey close?
The deadline to submit your response is Tuesday, 30 June at midday (BST).
What if I can’t find the link to complete the survey?
We’ll only send the link for you to do the survey via email. So, if you’ve checked your spam/junk folders and still can’t find it, get in touch with oustudents-media@open.ac.uk with your student PI and we’ll be able to help.
How does my response help other students?
Your response helps ensure your individual and unique perspective is represented in the decisions we make based on the results of the survey. Plus, more responses help us more accurately reflect on what OU students think of us!
Will my data be shared anywhere?
Any personal data, such as demographic information around your age or faculty of study, will only be analysed as broad percentages. The information you share with us will be kept secure and will not be released to any third party.
