  • A welcome to volunteering!

A welcome to volunteering!

In this section, our VP Opportunities and Belonging extends a warm welcome to you and we introduce volunteering with the Open SU.

Hello, my name is Kelly Coker and I am the Vice President of belonging and opportunities. If you are reading this, you have made the decision to come along and volunteer with Open SU and we could not be more grateful.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and volunteers just like yourself have been responsible for so many great changes over the years that ensure all students are getting the best experience they can on their OU journey. Here you will find everything you need to know about volunteering with us.

There is also information just for you as volunteer skills, how we recognise our volunteers and wellbeing resources because your wellbeing comes first, always!

All of us at Open SU appreciate you giving up your time to volunteer with us. We hope that you can join us as the Volunteer Socials, maybe this is where you will find your people and make friends for a lifetime.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your skills and knowledge with us. Look forward to volunteering with you and I hope your Open SU journey will be as life changing as it has been for me.

Best wishes

Kelly
