We love our volunteers here at Open SU, and so this week (Monday, 1 June – Sunday, 7 June) we will be celebrating the work of the students who do so much for us all.
If you’re one of our volunteers, look out for ‘thank you’ emails in your inbox. These will include an invite to our online Volunteers Social, taking place on Thursday evening (4 June). This will be a chance to connect with your fellow volunteers, and to celebrate the impact you’ve made – we might squeeze in a game of Volunteer Bingo too…
We’ll also be putting out articles and videos this week to highlight our volunteers’ work, so keep looking at our news page. You’ll be able to read (and watch) an interview from our Volunteer of the Year, look back at April’s wonderful volunteer awards ceremony, and experience what it’s like for a student to volunteer at an OU graduation day.
You’ll also discover the impact our volunteers have made on student voice during the last 12 months. It’s a reminder of the amount of work (and the extent) our volunteers do to make a difference on behalf of OU students.
