We are pleased to announce the launch of our LGBTQIA+ Hub. It's been designed for our LGBTQIA+ students (and their allies) to find resources, information, events and support, as well as ways to take action.
The aim is to address a wide range of issues and experiences LGBTQIA+ students face, and to encourage you to get involved in the LGBTQIA+ community in a way that feels right for you.
Alex Thomas, our LGBTQIA+ Rep from 2024–2026, was the instigator behind the hub, and we are very grateful to Alex for all their hard work in putting the information for the hub together.
There are a host of resources to explore on the site, including mental health and sexual health support, social and support groups, legal advice, and helpful videos (among other information).
You will also be able to see (at a glance) the many events organised by OU Pride.
We hope the hub will be a useful and vital resource for all of you.
