The OU Students Association’s Student Leadership Team discussed how they can progress work in their four priority areas at their official quarterly meeting last weekend.

The elected Student Leadership Team meets every quarter to discuss and agree how they should represent students and help to improve the student experience.

At the meeting in Milton Keynes on 11 February, the team discussed a range of topics including:

  • Students’ needs in relation to the provision of alternative learning formats
  • Increasing awareness of the services and activities the OU Students Association offers to students
  • Improving the offering of community-building events offered by the Students Association
  • How we can make academic representation more meaningful

The team were also delighted to be launching a new page on the website for OU students to be able to raise awareness of issues they are facing so that they can be addressed at future meetings. This will be up and running in the near future.
