Welcome Week has arrived. From now until Sunday, 4 October, join us for a fantastic week of events, activities and socials (both online and in-person).
We have a bumper programme of events. From quizzes and games to in-person meet-ups and inspirational online talks, we've got it all covered – and we have a star speaker too. The entrepreneur and TV presenter Amar Latif will be joining us on Wednesday, 30 September at 7pm.

Coming up...
There are loads of events going on throughout the week, including:
- A Welcome Week introduction event with our President and Deputy President.
- Sessions from our Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic Students Group, Disabled Students Group, and OU Pride.
- The chance to meet your Faculty Representatives, Open SU's Student Voice team, and to discover how to get into volunteering.
- Online fun with bingo, and games nights organised by members of the SLT and the OU's Environmental Sustainability Society.
- In-person meet-ups in Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and online for international students.
Ways to win
We're running a host of competitions for Welcome Week:
- Scavenger Hunt: Look for the clues in our Welcome Week Hub – five study bundles are on offer, including an OU hoodie and water bottle.
- Passport Bingo: Listen out for the secret word / phrase shared in a selection of Welcome Week events – ten students will win a prize bundle.
- Shhh, it's a secret: Introduce yourself on OU Students Connect – you might win a TOTUM student discount membership.
