Paul Reid

My role:

I’m the incoming Area Representative for Scotland. It’s going to be my job to represent and develop the thriving community of students in Scotland.

My priorities for this term:

To listen to and work hard for students across Scotland.

What I’ve been up to and what I’m currently working on:

Right now, I’m still finding my feet and completing the onboarding training.

What I’m studying:

History and Politics.

What I do when I’m not studying:

I enjoy cooking, hill walking and the occasional pub quiz.

My top study tips:

Music without words. I find music with lyrics too distracting and I don’t like silence either. Recently I discovered that if the music has no words, I can study and not be distracted – film soundtracks are particularly good for this.
