Venues

  • LGBTQ+ Centre London is a community centre that provides meet-ups, workshops, quiet spaces, clothes swaps and more.
     
  • The Outside Project is an LGBTQI+ domestic abuse refuge, community shelter and centre based in London.
     
  • Trans Pride Centre in Brighton offers a safe space for transgender people and allies. They host workshops, meet-ups, have services for young people, and more.
     
  • The Common Press is a queer intersectional bookshop in London –they also host events.
     
  • This Shop Is So Gay is a LGBTQ+ gift shop in York. It celebrates queer identity, offering visitors a welcoming and safe environment.
     
  • LGBT Centre Birmingham is a community hub offering support groups, social activities, advice services, and space for local LGBTQ+ organisations.
     
  • LGBT Foundation is one of the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ charities, providing health, wellbeing, domestic abuse, sexual health, and community support services. It is based in Manchester but works nationally.
     
  • The Queer Emporium is a queer community and cultural centre in Cardiff. It hosts community groups, events, workshops, creative projects, and provides a welcoming social space for LGBTQ+ people in Wales.
     
  • LGBT Health and Wellbeing is Scotland’s national LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing charity. It provides support services, helplines, social groups, counselling-related support, and community programmes across Scotland.
     
  • The Rainbow Project is Northern Ireland’s largest LGBTQIA+ organisation. It provides support services, counselling, community programmes, training, and equality campaigning across Northern Ireland.
     
  • The Proud Trust is Manchester’s largest LGBTQ+ community organisation. It has a physical community base and hosts support services, events and groups.
     
  • Queer Britain is the UK’s first and only national LGBTQ+ museum, celebrating LGBTQ+ history, people and culture through exhibitions, collections, events and community projects. The museum operates on a pay-what-you-can basis, making queer history accessible to everyone, while preserving stories that might otherwise be lost.
