It has come to my attention on two separate modules that students are not able to view all recording of tutorials. I assume this is because students are within different areas and therefore only have access to specific tutor materials. However, on my current module this difference means some students have had access to a tutorial and the recording of that tutorial for 8-9 days before some groups, including mine, could attend any tutorial on the subject and we still do not have access to any recordings. For students like myself, a full-time carer, we cannot always access tutorials live. I understand the divide in area groups and access to certain tutors but I feel the recordings of tutorials should be shared more widely. This specific tutorial's subject is a main factor of our EMA, which is due next week and I feel we are disadvantaged compared to other students who have had access to this supporting material. Those who are already disadvantaged by time, caring commitment or other reasons would hugely benefit from having more access to the materials at an earlier stage to enable us to submit our best work.
