Overview

Join us in this informal drop-in session to find out more about Careers and Employability Services and how we can help you figure out your goals and achieve them. We warmly welcome all new and returning students to meet us: discover our wide range of confidence-building and tailored online tools, employer connections and events, internships, opportunities and resources.

Ask us questions and hear how we can support you throughout your student journey and up to three years afterwards. We design our services based on what you need.

Our research shows that many OU students aren't sure of where they want their qualification to take them in life. Some have a goal in mind but don’t yet know how they’ll achieve it or what additional professional training or related work experience might be required. Some are not studying for career reasons but would like to make their OU study count and track their personal progress. Others need help navigating the sheer amount of careers information available or potential barriers to success.

If any of these sound like you, you’re not alone. Whatever your ambitions, age, ethnicity, religion, abilities or disabilities, mental or physical health conditions, identity, background, lived experiences and differences, we can help equip you to navigate any challenges and realise your unique potential. Just bring yourself.

Please read our Code of Conduct before joining this session and keep this in mind when taking part.
