Overview

Student voice is an integral part of OU life. Students have a role in improving the learning experience at the OU. In this session, we will share with you what student voice looks like at the OU, how you can get involved and share just some of the ways students have had a positive impact at the OU. We will also ask for ideas on what you’d like to give feedback on, how you’d like to give feedback and how we can communicate the impact of your feedback with all students. We will also introduce you to the Student Charter, which is a statement of values for our OU community of students and staff from across our four nations and beyond. In this session, we will introduce you to the recently reviewed and updated Student Charter and get your ideas on how the Student Charter should be shared with students throughout their OU journeys.

How to join:

Head to the Welcome Week conversation on OU Student Connect, where all event links will be posted on Friday 26 September (the day before Welcome Week begins).

This ensures that only OU students can access Welcome Week events. You don't need to create an account; you will be redirected to your OU login page and can join OU Students Connect that way.

Please read our Code of Conduct before joining this session and keep this in mind when taking part.

This session will be recorded and shared on our website. By attending, you consent to your name and video appearing in the recording (you will be able to turn your camera off).
