We’re excited to welcome Laura Howard from the University of Manchester to speak this Disability History Month!
About Laura:
Laura is a PHD student in Archeology and the Co-Chair of Manchester University's Disability Staff Network. Laura has physical and cognitive disabilities as a result of a TBI. This includes chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, difficulty with memory, difficulty with comprehension, and difficulty with social cues and speech.
Laura has supported the creation and running of focus groups for disabled PGR's, helped to start and run a research and support group for disabled PGR's, and created a range of training for staff.
