Speaker: Lauren Dolby
We’re excited to continue our OUPS Webinar Series with a session focused on the unique challenges faced by women during the menopause transition and how low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can be tailored to meet their needs. Mental health impacts of menopause are often overlooked, with symptoms such as anxiety, panic, and low self-esteem treated in isolation rather than as interconnected experiences.
Our speaker, Lauren Dolby, as a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with a particular interest in the intersection of menopause, anxiety, and self-esteem. In her clinical work, Lauren frequently supports peri- and menopausal women presenting with these concerns. Drawing on existing research , this talk will explore how CBT techniques and psychoeducation can be adapted to improve outcomes for this population.
The session will offer practical insights into current approaches, explore case studies, and discuss how tailored interventions can empower women to manage symptoms and build resilience. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
