Shwmae! Join the OU Students Association and the Open University in Wales for this January Freshers event. Whether you are studying for the first time or are a veteran of OU study, this is your opportunity to meet like-minded students, find out more about the Students Association and chat to OU in Wales staff. This event will take place from 10:30am until 12:30pm on Saturday 27th January 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff, with places being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
During this event, the OU Students Association will be sharing information on how to get involved in a vibrant student community, demonstrating that distance learning does not have to need to be distance learning. This will include information on how to meet other students, join clubs and societies and help shape change to the student experience.
We’ll also be joined by OU in Wales staff, who will be on hand to have a chat and answer your questions over a cuppa! This is an informal event which will increase your student network and support you to succeed in your studies. Come and say hello - we’re looking forward to meeting you!
