My name is Kit Renard and I’m a 33-year-old queer trans man from Glasgow. I’m currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing, and I’m on Level 2.
I’m a volunteeraholic, with roles in OUSU, Trans Pride Scotland, LGBT Health and Wellbeing, and the queer and disabled arms of a political party.
I’m also the co-founder and community manager of the OU Trans and Nonbinary Students Discord.
My particular passion is trans rights, but I hope Pride can be a space for all our queer and trans students.
My goal as Vice-Chair is to pressure the OU to further support its queer students and, especially, its trans students, and become a truly inclusive place of learning.
