Welcome to the Open University Students Association Volunteer Zone – Student Voice and congratulations on becoming one of our valued volunteers! This section is specifically for our Central Committee Representatives (CCR), our Student Voice Researchers, and Senate Reference Group Members (SRG) and Student Experience Representatives. Your role is an important one and will enable the students at the Open University to have a voice, and for their opinions and feedback to be heard and acted upon.
Student Voice only works if students get involved. An individual might be able to achieve some of what they set out to do, but by acting collectively we can support each other and achieve a whole lot more. Being an effective Representative is not about working on your own, there may be times when you would like to talk through an issue or have some support taking things forward.
Rest assured there is a great team around you to help.
Finally - Have a great term and remember that if at any point you need support or guidance the Students Association and your team will be here to help. You have the power to make real change!
