Due to work and study commitments, Laura Marulanda-Carter will be stepping down from her role as Vice President Education. Laura would like to thank students, student volunteers and staff members for what she describes as an “amazing experience”, and we would like to send our own thanks to Laura for her tireless hard work while she has been in post.
Following work alongside the Student Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, the Vice President Education role will transition into two new roles available in our current co-option – Vice President Academic Student Voice and Vice President Student Representation – in order to provide quality support to our Student Representatives and ensure that our academic processes and quality are fully supported. Laura has worked with us on these two new role descriptions, and will be remaining in her post as Vice President Education until these two new roles are filled to support induction and handover to the new role holders.
