After many months of planning, discussion and teamwork, the Open SU Student Leadership Team have launched the What We Believe in Hub, a space that brings together the principles that shape how Open SU approaches a range of topics across meetings, workshops and projects.

The hub was created in various stages, including gathering feedback in lots of different ways to make sure every student has the chance to be heard. On top of that, we’ve worked closely with our elected student leaders, so these ideas truly represent our community.

We've been working hard to understand what students think a great experience at The Open University should look like.

These ideas reflect the priorities and hopes of our student community, and we’ll be championing them in conversations with the OU to make sure your voice shapes the future.

We know that for many, studying at the OU is already a fantastic experience, and we want that to be true for everyone. So, we’re not saying these things don’t happen at all (because they do in some places), but we believe they should happen consistently for every student.

Visit the What We Believe in Hub today to find out more about our stance across a range of topics including academic representation, the OU curriculum and student support.
