It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our Honorary Life Members, Lorraine Adams.
Lorraine volunteered with the Association for many years holding numerous roles including elected terms as our Vice President Education and Vice President Communications, as Chair and Trustee of the Open University Students Educational Trust (OUSET) and as a long-serving Central Committee Representative. She was a huge support and inspiration to volunteers and staff alike and a longstanding advocate for the challenges faced by our students in Europe. She was always welcoming to new volunteers and her willingness to share her vast knowledge of the work we do will remain a lasting legacy.
Lorraine will be greatly missed by so many; we send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. A more detailed tribute to Lorraine’s impact on the Association is being prepared and will be shared shortly.
