Chris Templar: 2:35pm on 21 Sep 26 Hello all I am a Mac user and I have both a paid for app - SimpleMind Pro (about £20) and also a free app that comes with all apple products - Freeform. SImpleMind is a traditional mind mapping software that allows multiple connects/interactions. I like using this for planning essays. I put the TMA title in the middle and then branch out for each paragraph. Its fairly easy to see if ideas repeat or are built on and I can also add in references and images. Freeform is exactly that. It's a way of setting out ideas as you wish. Think mood boards or mind maps and both. You can collaborate with others - check if thats allowed on your course - or you can start on a mac and add in ideas on your iphone or ipad. Sound, image, video and web links are supported. Its very interactive. Hope this helps CT
