🌟 Neurodivergent Student Drop-In 🌟
At Open SU, we’re committed to supporting our neurodivergent community, and that means creating spaces where you can feel safe, heard, and welcome.

Come along and join Charon (WELS Faculty Rep), and Natalie (President) for our monthly drop-in session. It’s a friendly, confidential space for all neurodivergent students, whether diagnosed or not, to connect, share, or just be yourself.

About Charon Gates 

As the Faculty Representative for Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies (WELS), Charon's main priority for her term is ensuring that all WELS students are given a voice in all matters concerning them. She also works with the rest of the Student Leadership Team (SLT) to improve academic outcomes for neurodiverse students and underrepresented student groups. Charon’s Master's in Education Dissertation was on Understanding Dyslexia in an online learning Environment. 

About Natalie Baker 

As the President of Open SU, Natalie leads and empowers the Student Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that they can advocate for students on the issues that matter to them. As Natalie sits within the higher governance levels, she also represents students in the spaces where change happens, and ensures students are always a part of any decision-making.
