Chibwe and Charlotte from the Student Advice and Individual Representation team are hosting an online drop-in via Teams. This will be an opportunity for you to learn more about the Individual Representation Service and ask any questions that may concern you relating to complaints, appeals, plagiarism and central disciplinary comittee hearings.
You are welcome to drop-in to speak to an advisor at these times:
Thursday, 10 August: 4:30pm–6.30pm
Join us on teams | Meeting ID: 347 510 367 27 | Passcode: IndividualRepresentation
You do not need to sign up for teams in order to access the drop-in, however, you may need to download the app or join on the web. If you have problems, please email oustudents-studentadvice@open.ac.uk.
To minimise any issues and ensure the safety of everyone, attendees will enter the main meeting room with their mics muted and their video off. You will then be assigned to a meeting room with the available advisor. Please note, there will only be two advisors available to speak to, for privacy they can only attend to one student at a time. Each student will be allocated 20 minutes, to allow time for us to speak to as many students as possible.
If for any reason you are unable to speak to an advisor or the allocated time is not enough, we encourage you to complete our online form, and we will contact you back within 2 working days. You can access a telephone appointment or MS Teams appointment.
Our online events are intended to be welcoming and friendly spaces. Please read our Code of Conduct before joining this session and keep this in mind when taking part. If you have any concerns about the event, please contact our team on oustudents-studentadvice@open.ac.uk.
