Do you do events at all?

Yes, we have lots of events all throughout the year, and they're a fantastic opportunity to get together with other OU students in a relaxed environment. Have a look to see what's coming up in the next few months.

What was that – you're celebrating your 50th anniversary?

Indeed we are, and we're very proud of the fact that we have been able to help OU students for half a century. We have a 50th anniversary hub where you can find out more about our achievements over the past 50 years.

Where can I find important meeting papers?

Our leadership team, the Central Executive Committee (CEC), are elected every two years to represent students, and to influence all levels of decision-making within The Open University.

They meet up on a quarterly basis, and you can find the agendas, non-confidential papers and minutes from past CEC meetings below.

At full capacity, there are twelve Trustees of the Association, made up of six students, three members of the CEC and three external members, who work to ensure the health of the Students Association finances, governance and strategy.
