The OU Students Association has awarded more funding to clubs and societies than ever before.

The grants, which are available through the Association to support member initiatives and grow participation at events, are not new, but increased effort has been put into increasing awareness among the groups that are eligible to apply for them this academic year. This has resulted in the largest number of grant applications the Association has ever received.

Association Vice President, Michael Bryan, said “We’re delighted to be enabling more social and extra-curricular activities for OU students.

“Since being elected we have committed to prioritising communities and engagement as one of our main areas of work as we feel that it truly enriches the student experience.”
