We asked OU students to send us creative writing pieces on the theme ‘time’, for our Freshers Writing Competition as part of Freshers Fortnight 2023 (25 Sept - 8 Oct). We received 16 brilliant entries, and the judging panel of OU students and Society Committee members had the difficult task of choosing the winners. The judges would like us to mention that they were very impressed with the standard and quality of the entries.

The winners are as follows...

'Caught In An Hourglass' by Jamie-Lee, who lives in Chelmsford and is studying towards BSc (Hons) Psychology.
