Studying by distance learning can be lonely, and it can help to get together with some new, like-minded people.

Did you know about the clubs and societies run through the Association? There’s everything from Baking to Tattoos, Data Science to Model Building. You could even set up your own.

We also have three support groups to support OU students throughout their study journey:

Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic Students Group: Providing helpful resources and advocacy to OU students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds (and their allies).

Disabled Students Group: Run by (and consisting of) students with disabilities or other long-term physical or mental health problems, who provide a supportive community by sharing helpful resources and organising engaging events.

OU Pride: A support group and safe space for all LGBTQI+ OU students and their OU student allies.
