Mental Health Awareness Week – find out about our Peer Support service

mental health awareness week
The phrase 'Peer Support' on a turquoise background.

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year’s theme is loneliness.

Loneliness can affect all of us at different times in our lives, and can be particularly relevant to those of us distance-learning or working remotely. Some students report feelings of isolation which may cause difficulties in achieving the best study experience. You can contact our Peer Support service for confidential study support from a trained student volunteer. As OU students themselves, they know first-hand what it’s like to study through distance-learning, and understand some of the challenges you might be facing.

Come and visit our Peer Support page, and watch our Peer Support service video for more information.
