Walk, run, roll, cycle, swim, climb...the posibilities are endless!
OUSET is funded through legacies, individual giving and donations, awarding on average £100,000 worth of grants per year to Open University students. This is why from the 6 October to 15 December, we will be raising awareness and fundraising for the trust during the Step Up for OUSET campaign!
Across three months we're looking to collectively log 2121km, the distance between the UK OU offices, working together to raise awareness and fundraise this autumn.
Update: After an overwhelmingly positive start to the challenge, we've exceeded both our first target and stretch goal, and now we're off to San Fransisco with a total of 12371km! We have no doubt that we can reach this by the 16 December.
Anyone can get involved and you can make up your 'steps' however you can. Whether that be walking, running, cycling, rolling, climbing or swimming, simply record your distance and log it with us to be a part of growing OUSET for future Open University students.
First target (Open University campus locations): 2121km, reached 23 October!
Stretch goal (Milton Keynes to New York): 7621km, reached 13 November!
Stretch goal #2 (New York to San Fransisco): 12,371km
